The Munich Fashion Award aims to match emergent fashion designers with scalable and replicable sustainability technologies to pave the way into a positive future of the fashion system combining aesthetics with sustainability and technology.
The Munich Fashion Award’s sustainability definition merges the United Nations‘ definition with the EU carbon emission reduction aims:
„Sustainability is the balance between the environment, equity and economy with validated carbon emission reduction aligned with EU regulation“ All actions of the Munich Fashion Award are strategically based on this definition and guided by the UN sustainability goals.
